About this landfill
White Hills Class I LF is a publicly owned landfill in Gunnison, Sanpete County, Utah. It is operated by Sanpete Sanitary Landfill Cooperative. The site opened in 2001 and is expected to keep accepting waste until about 2066. It took in about 12,552 tons of waste in 2013, making it the No. 18 of 26 reporting landfills in Utah by volume.
